...and then Jeebus made an appearance

Selynn Jam was fun. Lots of teenagers and 30somethings. The group picture is the old guard, plus Dustin. The picture of four consists of the guys who all met twenty years ago this week at my first contest in Victoria (Jason Holister, me, Darren Wong and Ron Mercer). Enns was there too but wasn't participating (he did make the effort to come all the way to NV from Delta to see me, though).
The mags were a big hit, and both H and Wong wanted to buy them.

Revenge!

I rode my bike to Selynn on Sunday and completed ten laps without breaking my pelvis!
I've also hit China Creek and Hastings, and am going on a random ride with Osato and Enns in a few hours.
I've leaving the Montreal scene and am moving to Toronto for Sept. 1st (I was just hired by York University as a Prof). That means maybe a Wade-event in Ontario? King of Ontario? That's a bonafide threat. Spring?
Big news is that my final flow - hook-up - sponsors, Etnies and Dragon Canada via Timebomb, have removed my ass from their team after nine years. No hard feelings, and no burnt bridges. (No free shoes or sunglasses, either.)

Van city

I'm pedalling my mag-mobile around Vancouver for the next week. Selynn jam next Sunday will be the highlight, as I get to run into people I met 20 years ago this week!

Magazines are monthly

I'm off to Vancouver on Friday with my little magged out BMX. The BMX highlight will be the Selynn Jam on the 26th, where I get to hang with 1980s luminaries such as Darren Wong, Alan Brand, Mel Gooder, and Rockin' Ronnie Mercer. So psyched.
I'm thinking of painting my bike again. Home Depot now has a nice pink and a nice lavender paint ready to go.
My right arm still is recovering from Tennis Elbow. Stupid mags.
